Split into two phases, DeBary Main Street will introduce trendy retail, commercial properties and contemporary mixed-use residential to this sought-after locale in Volusia County. Phase I will feature townhomes and live-work units while Phase II will include retail spaces, restaurants, breweries and rental apartments.
This pedestrian-friendly project is designed to dazzle in every way, providing exciting future hangouts, essential services and amenities to serve a growing community. What’s more, this well-thought-out area will be accessible by all kinds of public transport—including via SunRail and bike. DeBary’s Main Street will serve as a hub to 600 miles of biking trails.
“The value of just this downtown area is $400 million. We believe over the next three to five years, this particular area is going to be almost $1 billion with the value and investment,” City Manager Carmen Rosamonda said.
Break It Down
Construction on this ambitious project is set to begin later this year. Officials expect DeBary Main Street to be up and running soon—Phase I is set to be completed by 2025.
