Meet Solvida’s Newest Neighbors
Goodyear, AZ (February 28, 2024) – Marcie’s uncle was in declining health when he told her, “I want you to buy a house and be happy.” Marcie recalls him saying, “I want it to be something you’ll love and cherish,” giving her an opportunity she never could have imagined.
It hasn’t always been easy for Marcie. She lost her dad when she was a young girl, and she and her husband, Luciano, have worked hard to pay their bills, raise a daughter, provide her with a private school education and improve their credit rating.
In January, Marcie received the inheritance from her uncle, was pre-qualified for a home and decided to end the lease on her apartment, putting her in a position where she needed to find a new home quickly.
“I prayed and stepped out in faith,” Marcie said. Ever since, she says that the blessings have flowed. Marcie drove into Landsea Homes’ Solvida at Estrella neighborhood in Goodyear, Arizona, on January 15, and on February 16, she moved into her brand new home.
Solvida at Estrella is a community of 65 single-family homes with four floor plans ranging from 1,875 to 2,194 square feet and three to four bedrooms with two-and-one-half to three-and-one-half bathrooms.
“We moved into the floor plan and style that appealed to me the most. It was everything I wanted in a home,” said Marcie. Her new Spanish-style home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and is 2,096 square feet.
Particularly appealing to Marcie was a first-floor, noise-reduced flex room, which she has converted to a home office.
The home also features all the Landsea Homes special details, from the open floor, upscale finishes and smart home technology with the Apple® HomeKit® to a REME HALO® air purifier system.
The family also has access to all the community amenities in the Estrella master plan. These include two residents’ clubs with fitness centers, pools and a water park, a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, 50 neighborhood parks and 72 acres of lakes for fishing and boating.
Despite the accelerated timeline to buy and close, Marcie said the Landsea Homes sales staff was great.
“Our experience with the Landsea Homes sales counselors was awesome. They laid out all of the options for me and even helped me secure $10,000 in credits towards closing. I was in constant contact with several people and while it was a little overwhelming, everyone was honest and helpful.”
Marcie says her extended family is blown away by her new home. As she says, “It’s been a complete blessing. They are all amazed that this has become a reality for me and my family. At times, I still almost have to pinch myself.”
Marcie and her family look forward to making lasting memories in their new home and, more than anything, just being happy.
“Sometimes my husband will say ‘We’re home. We really did it.’ I get really emotional, and gratefulness consumes me,” said Marcie.
